Here are some pictures of Halloween. Quite a coincidence that we did the Peter Pan theme along with Josh's family. Our family was missing Mr. Smee , though and I dressed up as a pirate at the last minute. Scott was Captain Hook, Kaden-Peter, Kaylee-Wendy, Kassidy-Tiger Lily, and Kambrie-Tinkerbell. Here is a picture of our ward Trunk or Treat in front of our "Trunk" Also some pictures of Pumpkin carving with a family from our ward that we invited over to share our pumpkins from our garden.

As everyone can tell, I am really terrible at blogging. I love following everyone else's blogs to see what everyone is up to. But, every once in a while I figure I'd better do some catching up on our family. So, I will start with some summer and fall pictures.
We enjoyed taking advantage of Lagoon this summer. The kids also had some fun whle camping and hiking. This hike picture was taken right before Kassidy fell into a very dirty swamp. It was quite disgusting, but she was a trooper. Scott and I also enjoyed our getaway to San Francisco this summer for his Planning Conference and I enjoyed a couple of days at Karen and Dan's house. Kaden has enjoyed cub scouts so far and this is a picture of him after getting his Bobcat award.
Kassidy chopped her hair before school started and both Mom and Kassidy love it short! Kaylee turned 10 years old! She is sure growing up fast. Kambrie broke her wrist and spent 6 weeks with a cast. She surprisingly did rather well. Her favorite thing lately is to draw on everything, so here are her pen covered legs. What a cutie!

Summer at the Thurgoods
Well the girls summer is just about up, they go back on the 20th, so a week from today. We have had to cram alot in the six weeks that they had off!! We have done a lot of fishing (including me...darn now that Bronco is big enough to go, I don't have an excuse to stay home!) Went camping and still going one last time this week. We bought a family pass to the Clearfield Aquatic center, so we have been swimming several times and not to mention the two weeks of swim lessons that the girls did. We have done lots of other activities to keep us busy like The Bees baseball game, movies, playing at the park, swimming at Pine View Damn...etc. We have ran like crazy that I am actually going to be excited to send them to school and calm down for a little bit.
As far the girls lives go...Kennedy has quit tumbling and has moved on to Gymnastics. She always wanted to do gymnastics and do the bars and beams so we are giving that a shot. She has a little advantage being able to do all the tumbling already and has been put on a pre-team until she gets the bars down. She is loving it, it takes up four hours a week. She really loved her swimming lessons the most out of the girls, and does really well with all the strokes and floats, that I don't even know what they are. She is very excited to start 3rd grade and hopes she meets lots of friends! (and boys even though she won't admit it)
Grace did a soccer camp with Kaylee for a week. She really loved it and showing us her moves. She is defiantly my sporty, competitive wild little thing! She loves swimming and does well but she just wants to swim and play, she didn't really want to learn what the teachers were teaching she just wants to play....she can't really hold still for more than a minute.
Demi just dances...thats all she does all day is dance. We ended this season but has already started the next season for competition. She had try outs last week, she has been moved up a level (which was a tad shocking because she is the youngest and smallest), however it doesn't shock me that she did well in front of the judges because thats her thing she loves to perform! SO now this year she will be the youngest and smallest again, the other girls with her are mostly seven, but we can't hold her back if this is what she wants to do. Today she decided to chop her hair off again....it is super cute!
Bronco....is finally potty trained, poor thing has been ready since last summer but had to wait until mom could fit it in her schedule to do it. So the training was easy and we are done. He is getting so big, he goes camping and fishing with us now and does about everything with us. The time is over that I have to have a babysitter for everything. He is still a major mamas boy so we will love having the kids at school, we will just play and watch TV all day. He does actually talk but I am usually the only one that understands everything.
Clint and I ran our first little race together, so fun! I plan to do two more this month for fun...my way of attempting to stay in shape! This sums up our life right now, I still feel like I am getting the house together but haven't worked on it since summer began...
The pictures are just random of things of the summer!
For those of you who still have summer left...Have a great Summer!

Article in the Ensign!
Hey everyone!
How are you guys all doing? I am sure you are all having a fun summer! Every time I think about summer I think about mom Barlow's house with all the yummy barbecues, grilled corn, tons of watermelon, Lagoon, friends and family! It is a bit different here because of the good weather year around we can just know it is summer because the girls are at home! :0)
I wanted to add this post to talk to you about the July Ensign, you probably already read it, I am sure we are the last ones to get ours in the mail anyway...if you read it you saw the article talking about Israel Barlow. It is a cute part of his journal talking about when Israel and Elisabeth (first wife) lost a baby and the baby's grave, etc...I just wanted to make sure you read it. In the end of the article also mentions about grandma Ora Barlow and the Israel Barlow biography book!
It was fun for me to read the story there and know more about your great great grand, etc...father! :0) The article is called "Daddy, don't leave me here". Pages 34-36.
I hope everyone is doing good, I miss spending time with you. I know I have to get better in calling and writing you...
I enjoy looking at everyone's blog, it is great to know that you are doing good!
We are doing great, I will probably update our blog this week. I have been busy keeping the kids busy :0) but I do love when they are home! Have a great month and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY everyone! :0) Love you! Milena

More Cheshire Pictures
Okay, here are more pictures from our life the past few months.....
We remodeled our kitchen, which was pretty crazy for a while. So here are some before, during, and after pictures.
I was also absolutely out of my mind, but I worked at Lagoon for the last month of school so that we could get 5 free season passes. I couldn't believe how hard it was to be a full-time working mom. Plus I'm not in the shape I used to be, so I was dead every night. So now we get to enjoy Lagoon all summer.
We went to Boise and McCall Idaho for a reunion with Scott's family. The kids loved swimming, hiking, and walking along the harbor.
Here are pictures of Kaden's 8th birthday. He will be getting baptized on August 1st.

Finally some new pictures!
Things have been crazy it seems like for awhile now.... we are finally in a new home, no complaints staying with Dad and Mom for awhile it was great!! I am still unpacking..it took me a year to pack it all up and might just take another year to unpack it all. I don't have any pictures of it yet but I will get on that as soon as it starts coming together.
I am updating a few pictures, Clint and I went to the big Island Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary, I made Clint get pictures to celebrate ( I figure the kids might want them one day) We loved it like we do all our trips! It was great for me because there was less packing on my part since the kids were already at moms!
There is the Easter picture for the year with the kids.
Kennedy's Baptism picture clear back from her birthday.
Grace and Demi's belated birthday pictures also.
Demi has had two dance competitions in the last couple of weeks. Her team had competed 6 times and has taken first place in all of them ( sometimes it was against 9 other teams). We always knew she'd be a dancer, so they have been pretty fun.
I thought I would share Broncos excitement about new under ware....who wants to be the one to break it to him that they go under the clothes???
Well spring and summer will bring more crazyness, between Dance recitals, Preschool graduation, school ending, summer, swim lessons and then back to school in July for YEAR ROUND...woo hooo! That about sums things up for right now, but will try to get house pictures up soon!
