The Cheshire's Fall Season
So, I am not the best at this blogging stuff, but I'm at least working on once a quarter. So here are our fall pictures, which ended up out of order. But here's a description of each one anyway. Kaden is very excited to be starting Jr. Jazz Basketball, so he's modeling his new jersey. Next we have Halloween at Grandma's and pumpkin carving. Kambrie is playing in the leaves for the first time, showing us how she can finally sit up, and her cheesy grin in the highchair. Next is the kids first day of school and then Kaylee's 9th birthday. We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon for the wedding.

Movie Review
"Forever Strong"
We went and saw Forever Strong this weekend. It was excellent. It was a really well made movie with a positive message and it was set in Utah.
Don't be turned off that this is a movie about Rugby. Just like Rudy is a movie about Football. This movie is about doing your best and being true to your friends and your family.
I highly recommend going to see this movie. There's no doubt that you won't regret the price of a ticket on this one. Plus, while I don't consider this a really good reason for going to movies, it does feel good to support a positive, clean movie made by a smaller Utah studio.
And on a completely side note - check out the banner ad for Coach of the Year to the left. Everyone go vote for Bronco. Support a coach who cares about the athlete, integrity and doing the right thing. (and wins) I think you can vote every day, so please do!

Football Season...Love it!
Well September is already flying by... The pictures are the girls first day of school...(make sure you notice the girls "Roxy high heals, wedge shoes" They love them and think they are sooo cool in them. I didn't even know they knew what Roxy was! My fourth Wedding cake, and Broncos Bday! His pictures were taken this morning for his birthday, and surprisingly he hammed it up for the pictures, I have a mini Clint on my hands. He is loving his presents...he got a tool stand set thing that makes all kinds of noises that is already driving us all crazy. More Legos....yea and Bronco stuff! The girls are loving school, I'm not loving the Homework, but am actually liking having 2 gone all day. I didn't think I would, I think last year at this time I was still crying that Kennedy was gone all day. The 2 girls are on the same soccer team this year finally so that has been fun. They love their Hip Hop class and tumbling. Demi is loving her Dance class and LOVES preschool, she also thinks she is soooo big! On Mondays and Fridays for 2 hours it is only me and Bronco, and it is his nap time, so know not to call during this time because I will be on my bed crosstitching, watching my soaps and eating a whole package of cookies! Tomorrow Clint and I are off to Gods country to see the Broncos, the Broncos are already having a better season then we thought so hopefully we see a good game!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, it was actually a great day!
Talk to you all Later!

August 2008
Hi Everybody!
Well for those of you that heard we sold our house, we did. We found a house in West Point that we put an offer on. (It goes to the school I wanted and has a master bath with a big tub!!) After we put an offer on it, the next day we found out that our buyers couldn't get their loan, so we had to back out of our house. We are back at square one....selling again! This is going to get so old!
I did a wedding cake this weekend..I promise it looks exactly like the picture the bride gave me and is the exact colors that she wanted. Cakes are getting so crazy now days. I heard at the reception it was getting raving reviews, and even the old people said they loved it and "are getting sick of seeing white cakes" I do another one on the 13th of September, it is just a boring, very pretty white one.
Well School starts back up on Monday. One minute the girls are excited because they are bored and the next minute they don't want to go back. They have been so bored the past two weeks, we only went camping twice, swimming 4 times, Lagoon 3 times, and house hunting......but they are so bored because half of their toys are in storage now! My house is half empty!
September should be a fun month...not as stressful since we aren't moving now, but I will have my 4th wedding cake (hopefully Anne's is the 5th) Bronco will turn TWO!! I will turn 29, the last fabulous year before hitting 30! Clint and I will go to Denver for a game for a weekend...Bronco Season is starting!! GO BRONCOS!
Hope everyone's school year is great!

Pansy our Pug
We just want to keep everyone updated of what goes on around here. On Wednesday morning our pug pansy put a hole in her eyeball (we are blaming her daughter Holly) We took her to the vet and Thursday morning we took her back in to have her eye removed. What a sad surgery but she made it through great and came home last night. She is being very mellow, due to her pain shots that last 2 days. We now have have a one eyed pug. Instead of whistling to get her to come now, we will just say aaarrrrg.
Have a great 4th of July!

Movie Review: Wall-E
Wall-E
Wall-E was an interesting movie. It tries to make a political point while at the same time be cute and funny for kids.
It wants to convince you that Man has ruined the planet and filled it with garbage. And that even though Man has become fat and lazy we should still fight for the Earth. Blah, Blah, Blah. It was so over the top it was annoying.
It also wants to be cute and funny, and it really was. Wall-E and his girlfriend are great. The animators and voice actors do an amazing job. There is some genuinely sweet parts of the movie. There are some genuine laughs.
So, if you like the movie depends on how sensitive you are to being called fat, and lazy and all you do is make garbage.
On a rating scale of

I give it a 3. I recommend you wait to only pay a $1 for the whole family.

This would be a first for HEIDI!!!
Yea for me!! Well everyone sems to think we live an exciting life over here...so I am going to try to make this sound like we really do.... I'll start with Bronco....well that about sums that up. Just kidding we love our little handsome man! He will be turning two in just a few months and is getting crazy. Even though everyone seems to think he is not a happy child, he is my greatest yet. 4th a charm I guess. He is into everything, and it is true boys are different from girls! He does throw everything, climb on everything, breaks everything. I am redoing his room right now making it into " Broncos Country", I even used Denver Bronco Blue paint. It is looking super cute! He is just "loving" his season pass to Lagoon, his favorite ride the cars that drive around...Puff not so much!
As for Demi..... my sassy child. We are proud of her, this last week she made a competition dance team. She has always loved dancing as everyone knows and is quite the show girl, so I think she will do pretty good. She also started tumbling this summer and loves that also. She will start pre school in the fall, which she can't wait for her Mrs Hillary as a teacher.
Grace and Kennedy, They are basically one... connected at the hips! They just finished being cheerleaders instead of dance this year. For this next year they decided they want to be in a hip hop class. They just go from one thing to another. They are still in tumbling, Kennedy has started working on whips, and her record for Back Handsprings is about 8 in a row on the floor. She has the little tough body type for this. Grace has her back hand spring down. Grace is also my Soccer Star, she will be my sporty girl. I don't think I have seen any one so competitive! (that includes you Josh, she could take you down)
For the summer we are just finishing up swim leessons..... We have the Lagoon passes so that is a weekly trip. The house is back up for sale, we are so indecisive.... so we do a lot of cleaning. We are loving having Clint home for the summer...we almost forgot that we had a dad. He just has one year left of school, however in the fall his week will consist of 80 hours of work, so back to no Dad. The girls do a lot of fishing with him to make up for it during the summer.
Clint and I spent our 9 year anniversary in LA for one night to watch Bon Jovi in concert. Still Love him! Then in May we went to NYC, we had a fabulous time! Favorite things was the broadways we saw Wicked and Phantom. Little dissapointed that the Mets Baseball game was rained out, and we spent a 100$ at Tavern on the Green resturant for lunch. We love our trips and treasure every moment that we get to spend alone!
Well that about sums it up! Hope everyone is happy, and if you want to know anything else let me know....because to me it is all a bore. Hope the pictures work. We have Easter in case I didn't get one to you. Demi dance nad the two girls cheer outfits.
Hope you all are having a great Summer!

Family Fun in London!
We were so happy to have Annie come visit for a week then Karen & Dan! We had loads of fun with everyone. Life is great for us here... just getting ready to move back! Hope you are all doing well. The wall around Canterbury with Annie... we got out of the city for a day and went to Canterbury and Leeds Castle.
Crazy late nights w/Karen & Dan... we went to bed at 4 a.m. once and the sun was already coming up! Well worth it though. Thanks for teaching us how to play Nertz.
Josh and Karen flying a kite... he's throwing it up (not much wind that day) and she's getting ready to RUN!Crazy late nights w/Karen & Dan... we went to bed at 4 a.m. once and the sun was already coming up! Well worth it though. Thanks for teaching us how to play Nertz.
For more pics... check out our blog... which we update more frequently than this one :)

Isaac is home guys!
We are very happy to let you know that our little Isaac is home! We got discharged Wednesday night and things are going pretty good...Thank you so much for all the prayers, phone calls, messages, emails, cards and packages you guys sent us! Milena was all the time in the hospital with Isaac and could not answer the phone because they would not allow cell phone use in the ICU, sorry if we missed your calls. Our little guy is just really cute and we look forward to be together at home with him! Having him at home was the best Mothers Day's gift Milena could get it or want it! Thank you again guys, you are the best family someone can have it! Here is a picture of him leaving the hospital :0)

For the readers
Hey all you readers,
thought I would introduce you to the website I've been using to track books.
It's called LibraryThing. www.librarything.com
You enter books easily with ISBN, and can then label or tag them.
Free for under 200 books, but very cheap for a lifetime membership.
Here's my list of books.
http://www.librarything.com/catalog/dragonb
It's helping me track books I own, but also books I've read. Now I'm labeling the ones read this year, so I know how many books I read in a year. Up to 28 so far.
anyway, have a look.

New Job
I guess everyone probably already knows that I got a new job. In case you were curious, the website for the firm is www turbin.net.
So far it has been very interesting, but a lot of work while I learn the ropes.
We are getting excited for Isaac's birth, less than a month to go!

My first post
I know, pathetic. We've sort of gone AWOL for a few months! I just wanted to let you know we're going to get back into the blog world! I've been looking at all your fun updates and I've also finally added some things to our blog.
Also, we're coming into town in a couple weeks and are excited to see everyone. We come in the 18th. I have to be at a shower on the 19th from 1:00-3:00. Then Jake's wedding is the next Saturday, the 26th. We know your kiddos are busy in school, but we hope to do some things together while we're there. Dan and I would even be happy to babysit if you want to start planning now! :) I just really want our kids to get to play together and it seems like time always goes so fast when we're there.
Okay, so this was a weak post, but at least I made an appearance... Heidi, you're up!

Slackers
no posts for a while here...
so, here's some helps...
I'm not an expert in digital cameras, or video cameras, but I generally know some places for info.
Here's the best site I've seen on video camera reviews.
http://www.camcorderinfo.com/
tons of great info. site is a little heavy on ads. But the reviews of each camera are great. The ratings with approximate prices helps too.
For digital camera reviews this site is great
http://www.steves-digicams.com
He doesn't review everything, but the reviews are great.
Click on either Our Reviews or a better starting point is "The Best Cameras" where it gives some recommendations in different categories.
I always jump to the conclusion and look for the times to take a picture which he will usually list.
